  • Print out of detailed Diagnostic Report.
(OBD) “On-board diagnostics” is an automotive term, this refers to a vehicle’s self-diagnostic and reporting capability.

OBD systems give the car owner or repair technician access to the status of the various vehicle sub-systems.

The amount of diagnostic information available via OBD has varied widely since its introduction in the early 1980s’ versions of on-board vehicle computers.

Early versions of OBD would simply illuminate a malfunction indicator light should a problem be detected but would not provide any information as to the nature of the problem.

These days we use OBD implementations as a standardised digital communications port to provide real-time data in addition to a standardised series of (DTCs) “Diagnostic trouble codes”.

More Info

We strive to deliver quality workmanship at a reasonable price, and provide extra attention and care to all our customer needs.
Here are more info and details on common car parts.

Your brakes are the single most important feature of your car.
Regardless of how everything else works, if you can’t stop, it is going to be a bad day. Just like everything else in newer cars, brake systems are highly computerized, complex systems designed to keep you safe.
With sensors that can tell your vehicle about the road you are driving on, with the latest technology out there, car and trucks can adjust the pressure brakes apply to each wheel allowing you to stop quicker and avoid any danger up ahead. The more complex the system, the more sophisticated the tools and training required to repair them.

We have the latest training and equipment needed to take care of your brakes and keep them working efficiently and effectively.

The safety of our clients is really important to us which is the reason why we offer the best brake repairs, we inspect your whole brake system and offer quality brake pads and discs with good guarantees.
Your brake fluid is just as vital as your brake pads and therefore should be replaced by professionals once a year.

We offer the following brake services:

  • ABS system diagnostics and repairs.
  • Master cylinders and wheel cylinders.
  • Replacement of cables and hoses.
  • Adjustment of handbrakes.
  • Skimming of drums.
  • Skimming of discs.
  • Replacement of rear discs and pads.
  • Repairs on brake callipers.
  • Replacement of brake sensors.
  • Replacement of front disc pads.
  • Replacement of brake fluid.

The engine is the heart of your vehicle.
There are almost as many types of engines as there are vehicles on the road, while engines have become more complex and computerized over time, the basics of engine repair is essentially the same. There are differences in engine sizes and configurations.
Engines are also more efficient, and some are powered by electricity rather than gasoline.
Despite the changes, the basics are very similar.

Engine Mounts:
Engines move and vibrate, there are a lot of moving parts within an engine.
In order to keep the engine safe and protect the rest of the car from the vibrations, engines are connected to a vehicle through a series of engine mounts, one part of the engine mount is connected to the body of the vehicle while the end is connected to the engine.

Between the two ends is thick rubber material acting as a buffer between the engine and the body to act as a shock absorber reducing the vibrations felt as a result of the engines normal operation.

To further absorb movement, engine mounts contain a hydraulic fluid to enhance the absorption ability of the mounts.
Since these mounts are constantly working and being moved and shaken, they do wear out over time and need to be replaced. Newer cars, with their advanced technology and engineering have mount that can last longer than traditional mounts, which have a lifespan of about 5 – 7 years.

A disc brake is a type of brake that uses the callipers to squeeze pairs of pads against a disc or "rotor" to create friction.
This action slows the rotation of a shaft, such as a vehicle axle, either to reduce its rotational speed or to hold it stationary, the energy of motion is converted into waste heat which must be dispersed.

Hydraulically actuated disc brakes are the most commonly used form of brake for motor vehicles, but the principles of a disc brake are applicable to almost any rotating shaft.

A drum brake is a brake that uses friction caused by a set of shoes or pads that press outward against a rotating cylinder-shaped part called a brake drum, the term drum brake usually means a brake in which shoes press on the inner surface of the drum, when shoes press on the outside of the drum, it is usually called a clasp brake.

Where the drum is pinched between two shoes, similar to a conventional disc brake, it is sometimes called a pinch drum brake, though such brakes are relatively rare.
A related type called a band brake uses a flexible belt or "band" wrapping around the outside of a drum.

An engine's job is to power the systems your car or truck needs.
This is done through belts, many cars have a single belt that powers all of the other systems, many older vehicles have a series or belts which handled the same function, systems powered through the belts include, the alternator, power steering, air conditioner, and radiator fan.

As with all moving parts, friction and heat come into play and belts to wear out and crack over time, newer belts are thicker made of stronger material, but they still do wear and break down.
Belts need to be tight to avoid slippage, a belt tensioner is a devise that keeps the belts tight under pressure to the belts remain effective, if the belt tensioner is not working, belts can become loose or misaligned causing issues with keeping your engine and the rest of the part of the vehicle operating properly.

Your vehicles cooling system is important and needs to be taken care of, a mixture of water and antifreeze goes through a series of hoses, radiator, engine and internal heater radiator.
Therefore, if your cooling system doesn’t have the right amount of antifreeze in it, it will rust and all the components will shut down and fail.

We offer the following services:

  • Block testing
  • Electric radiator fans
  • Hose replacement
  • Interior radiator repairs and replacement
  • Pressure testing
  • Water pump replacing
  • Welsh plugs

Gaskets & Seals

Regardless of the type or style of engine, engine oil is used to keep all those moving parts running reducing or even removing the friction caused by parts of the engine rubbing against each other.
The Engine oil is kept in the engine through a series of gaskets and seals, with the engine moving, and vibrating as it does, these gaskets and seals wear out and become damaged over time leading to oil leaks.

Leaking oil causes more problems than just stains on your garage floor, the loss of engine oil reduces the efficiency of the engine and can lead to serious engine issues over time.

We pride ourselves on our knowledge of engines and our skill and experience in repairing and maintaining vehicle engines. We also pride ourselves in how we work with you. We always maintain our honesty and integrity. The components in an around your engine are extremely complex, it is for this reason that every driver or vehicle owner should stick to the service schedules which will then lower the risk of costly repairs.

We have all the relevant electric workbooks and specifications for your vehicles engine and therefore guarantee a fully repaired and fully functional engine.
We also specialise in blown cylinder head gaskets and engine overhauls and ensure a quick turnaround time.

We specialise in the following:

  • Belts
  • Block tests
  • Cam belts
  • Compression tests
  • Engine overhauls
  • Mountings
  • Noise detection
  • Noisy filters
  • Oil leaks
  • Overheating
  • Pulleys
  • Sump leaks
  • Turbo repairs
  • Water leaks

CV Joints, Prop Shafts and Wheel Bearings

If a damaged CV joint boot is tended too early, simply replacing the boot and repacking the CV joint with fresh grease is all that is usually required in order to fix the problem.

If the vehicle is continuously driven with a damaged CV joint boot it will eventually fail, the most common symptom of a badly worn out CV joint is a clicking or popping noise when turning. Furthermore, a damaged CV joint is not repairable and therefore we will replace it for you with a brand-new part.

We specialize in the following:

  • Wheel nut replacement
  • Hub replacement
  • Spring tensioning of both coil and leaf springs
  • Wheel bearings
  • New CV boots
  • Centre bearings
  • Prop shaft reconditioning and balancing
  • CV joint replacement

Clutch System

The clutch is an aspect that will only need to be replaced once or twice in your vehicle’s lifetime, we are the best when it comes to replacement of clutches:

  • Clutch Replacement
  • Dual mass flywheels
  • Flywheel skimming
  • Replacement of clutch cables and adjustments
  • Slave & Master cylinder repairs and replacement
  • Replacement of clutch fluid
